If you have bluetooth on your BlackBerry, you can use it like a wireless remote control and control the PowerPoint presentation from about 30 ft away. This allows you greater mobility during your presentation, and you can also interact with your audience to give a highly engaging and effective presentation, without a laptop. You can also review the text, titles and presentation notes on your handheld while the presentation is being projected as well as select the slide you want to project next. The Impatica ShowMate also gives you more control over your PowerPoint presentation, as you can jump to any presentation slide to answer any questions or to make clear a certain point. You can display animations, charts, slide transitions and graphics using the ShowMate.
Contents and technical details
It has SVGA output at up to 800 x 600 resolution. Input is possible through USB [Only for BlackBerry] or Bluetooth. It comes with BlackBerry edition software, Impatica ShowMate module, 10 foot USB cable, Bluetooth USB adaptor, Impatica for PowerPoint, Quick start and Quick install guides. It works with BlackBerry software version 3.8 and the versions after it. Version 4.3 or later is needed for screen projection. It also comes with a CD-ROM with documentation, Impatica Screen Projector (to be used with BlackBerry) and Impatica Viewer software (to use with Sony Ericsson, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile). The Impatica for PowerPoint Mobile Edition software (Compatible with all windows versions from WIN98 onwards) will convert your PowerPoint presentations to be transferred to your handheld and also reduce the files to around 5-10% of their normal file size. This enables optimal viewing on your handheld and efficient wireless transfer.
It is compatible with a wide range of BlackBerry handhelds. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty as well.
